The End User License Agreement that dictates the usage of Li Beirut font follows the model used in FontAid and with permission. The complete list of designers is here.

End User License Agreement
Please note that this document constitutes the complete agreement between you (End User) and ArabicType Ltd.

1) Notice to User
The End User has not purchased the ownership rights to this font, but rather a license to use this font on a limited basis.

2) Fair Use
This basic license is intended to accommodate most personal and professional uses as in the course of everyday correspondence and document writing, or in the design of self-promotion and marketing pieces like business cards, newsletters, advertisements, signage, and brochures. The End User may use the licensed font to create images on computer screens (desktop images, web page designs, etc.), but may not place this font on any computer, website, or any other shared device or network for download or distribution to unlicensed third parties.

As each individual glyph contained in this font software is copyrighted to its respective creator, and each glyph was contributed in good will as part of this font created to benefit charity, we respectfully submit that the End User must not use the images (glyphs) in this font as the principal artwork in any item to be resold for profit. This includes, but is not limited to, coffee mugs and iconic t-shirts. The End User must not use the images (glyphs) in the font software as principal artwork in image or alphabet sets intended for resale, such as rubber stamps, sticker sets, and refrigerator magnets. The End User must not use the images (glyphs) in the font software as the sole element in any form of corporate identity (including logos, wordmarks, and other associated imagery).

In the case that the End User wishes to use images (glyphs) from the font software as principal artwork in an item to be resold for profit or other normally excluded uses as described above, the request would be considered based on the End User’s assurance that a significant percentage of profits or other appropriate cash donation would be donated to international relief efforts for Lebanon, if the original creator or copyright holder of the glyph in question grants permission for such use. 3) Number of Users
This font software license is limited for use by five (5) users at a single site. All users must belong to the same company or household purchasing the font. A laptop may be one of the devices in the basic license of 5 devices as long as the laptop is associated primarily with the licensed location. 4) Third Parties
You may provide the font to a graphic designer, printer or other service bureau that is working on your behalf only if they agree to use the font exclusively for your work, agree to the terms of this license, and retain no copies of the font on completion of the work. The End User may not provide the font or make it accessible to any other third parties.

5) Embedding
The End User may embed the licensed font into any document sent to third parties.
The font software may be embedded in documents that may be viewed, printed, and/or edited by any recipients within the company licensing the font. The font may be embedded in documents that may be viewed and printed (but not edited) by any recipients.
You may not under any circumstances embed the licensed font into software or hardware products in which the font will be used by the purchasers of such products.

6) Modifications
You may not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the licensed font itself without the express prior written consent. However, the End User may import characters from the font as graphical objects into a drawing program and modify such graphical objects.

7) Copyright
The font software and the accompanying materials are copyrighted and contain proprietary information and trade secrets belonging to ArabicType Ltd and the original creators of the images (glyphs) in the font. Unauthorized copying of the product, even if modified, merged, or included with other software, or of the written materials, is expressly forbidden. The End User may be held legally responsible for any infringement of intellectual property rights that is caused or encouraged by your failure to abide by the terms of this Agreement.

8) Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. This Agreement will terminate automatically without notice from the distributor of this font or ArabicType Ltd if the End User fails to comply with any provision contained herein. Upon termination, the End User must destroy the written materials, the font, and all copies of them, in part and in whole, including modified copies, if any.

9) Product Upgrades
ArabicType Ltd may, from time to time, update the font software. Product upgrade pricing may apply.

10) Disclaimer & Limited Warranty
The distributor of this font warrants the Product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of twenty-one (21) days from the date of delivery as shown on your receipt. The distributor’s entire liability and your exclusive remedy as to a defective product shall be, at ArabicType Ltd’s option, either return of purchase price or replacement of any such product that is returned to the distributor of this font with a copy of the invoice. The distributor of this font shall have no responsibility to replace the product or refund the purchase price if failure results from accident, abuse or misapplication, or if any product is lost or damaged due to theft, fire, or negligence. Any replacement product will be warranted for twenty-one (21) days. This warranty gives the End User specific legal rights. The End User may have other rights, which vary from state to state.
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED ABOVE, THE PRODUCT, IS PROVIDED “AS IS”. NEITHER THE DISTRIBUTOR OF THIS FONT NOR ARABICTYPE LTD MAKES ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the Product rests upon you. Neither the distributor of this font nor ArabicType Ltd warrants that the functions contained in the Product will meet your requirements or that the operation of the software will be uninterrupted or error free.
NEITHER THE DISTRIBUTOR OF THIS FONT NOR SOTA SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING DAMAGES FROM LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION, AND THE LIKE) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT EVEN IF THE DISTRIBUTOR OR THE FOUNDRY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

11) Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
